Tasman Software Release

Mar 28, 2025

Aspeq is excited to announce a major update to its Tasman software, which started rolling out in mid-February. This release, developed with feedback from clients and candidates, reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the best possible user experience.

Enhancements for Candidates and Clients

The latest update is packed with enhancements designed to improve usability and functionality for all users. For candidates, the membership renewal process is being improved to enhance efficiency, making it a smoother experience for many in their professional journey. Meanwhile, tailored improvements for the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) include a newly updated report format, simplifying administrative tasks for their staff and enabling faster, more accurate result entries.

David Bailey, Aspeq’s Head of Product, emphasised the customer focus behind this release: “We’ve worked closely with our clients and candidates to understand their needs and challenges. This release is a direct result of feedback and we’re looking forward to delivering updates that enhance their experience today while laying the groundwork for future innovation.”

Commitment to Security, Privacy, and Accessibility

In an ever-evolving digital landscape, Aspeq places the highest priority on security and privacy. This release includes enhanced monitoring and security checks, conducted by a third-party supplier, ensuring a robust and trustworthy system.

Accessibility remains a core focus, with improvements aligned to WCAG standards. These updates aim to ensure an inclusive experience for all users, aligning with our commitment to supporting diverse candidate and client needs.

Efficiency Gains for All Users

We’ve also implemented software efficiencies, enabling teams to provide even better service to candidates and reinforced our dedication to privacy and security.

Preparing for the Future

This major release, encompassing hundreds of updates, is part of Aspeq’s vision for a forward-looking platform that not only meets today’s demands but is also prepared for future client needs. By addressing both current and anticipated challenges, Tasman is evolving into a tool that empowers our users and supports their goals.

At Aspeq, we’re proud to keep pushing boundaries, ensuring our software remains a valuable resource for candidates, clients, and the industries we serve.
