Workplace Assessment

Workplace assessment is one of the final parts of any structured learning programme. It typically involves a specialist workplace assessor measuring and formally recognising skills/competencies and knowledge. As an integral part of high stakes assessment, ASPEQ supports this function through systems and processes that address the management of:
- Candidate registration and bookings of assessments
- Payments, cancellations and schedule adjustments
- Assessment schedules and assessor case allocations
- The network of specialist assessors
- The assessment document repository - exam results and qualifications, and candidate assessment collateral uploaded by candidates, as well as assessment/moderation report documentation and record keeping updated by assessors

Flight Testing
Flight testing services are provided to the aviation sector in New Zealand under delegation to the CAA. The service consists of providing an onsite flight examiner who undertakes a structured flight test to assess a pilot's competence to be issued with a commercial pilot's licence, instrument or instructor ratings.
Flight testing services are managed in a similar manner to workplace assessment services, with online bookings and results.
