CAAS Exams Go Live

Mike Lynskey, Director of Business Development, was in Singapore on 29th October to work with CAA Singapore managers and observe the release of the ASPEQ's Tasman booking system in Singapore. The release was a great success, prompting considerable 'early adopter' candidate enthusiasm. Over 90 registrations and 70 bookings were made in the first two hours following release. Feedback from the engineering candidates using the system was very positive, reinforcing the success of the release and the quality of CAAS's preparations.
In the first week, back to back exam sittings were full, with 30 candidates at each session. The examinations ran smoothly in the new, purpose-designed CAAS exam centre, demonstrating that the system and training provided by ASPEQ was well able to provide exam services to large groups of candidates on a global basis with only remote support.
Mike reports that CAA Singapore are very pleased with the computer exam service and are already discussing expanding the service to provide other examination types. He adds that this is a very good start to providing computer exam services more widely in Singapore.
