ASPEQ secured a contract to supply assessment services to the New Zealand Department of Building and Housing in 2006.  A key part of this contract was the requirement to work with DBH to develop and train a large network of building practitioner assessors sourced from the building industry.  The Department wanted to ensure that the assessors had the practical experience as well as the qualifications and knowledge to effectively assess building practitioners (carpenters, designers, site managers, roofers and plasterers) for the issue of licences.

ASPEQ supplies New Zealand Government Department of Building and Housing, workplace assessment support services, provided for the purposes of licensing building practitioners. Within this service we process registrations and bookings, provide an online documents and workflow management system which allows licensing applications to be processed and assigned to our team of building practitioner assessors who will then undertake the assessments and record results.

The supply of assessment services is supported by ASPEQ throughout the assessment cycle, and at the end of the process, an assessment report is forwarded electronically to NZ DBH as part of its licence issue process.
